How to See the Forest Instead of the Trees
Or solving the BIGGEST Time Waster
There’s the ole saying, “Can’t see the forest for the trees.” There we are flopping around–okay flailing around–and our focus is on why am I doing that, wish I could stop it, etc. Meanwhile, we flail away. We are so close to the problem we only see “trees”. We KNOW there is a forest out there. BUT…thus far (and this could be days, weeks, months, even years) haven’t found our “forest”.
Do we think that after all the time WASTED we are suddenly going to walk across a parking lot and stumble over a box labeled How To See The Forest. (Subtitle: Magic & Easy Fix for Fill-In-Your-Name Flailing Genealogy Problem.)
Lots of thoughts have been spent on the above recently. See, I started blogging about this and feedback (which isn’t always JUST from comments) said, “Me too. Looking forward to your solution(s).” The pressure was on.
While all the things I implemented in Flailing…Part 2 have helped…(that was the post about “How to Control 3 Time Wasters“.) Drat! I STILL hadn’t stopped flailing! BTW, that doesn’t mean you can ignore the Part 2 post.
